Football trip to Milan with two Serie A matches
Two matches in two days and two different Italian football environments. From December 12th to 15th, a football trip to Milan where you first see Inter play against Torino San Siro December 13th. The next day the journey continues to Bergamo for Atalanta against Genoa on December 14th.
With Milan as your base, you’ll also get three nights in the heart of one of Italy’s most exciting cities. In December, the Christmas lights are up, the restaurants fill up in the evenings, and the city’s central neighborhoods are perfect for exploring between matches. The combination of Milan, Bergamo, and two Serie A matches makes this a weekend with much more than just 90 minutes of football.
Inter vs. Torino at San Siro
The first match of the trip will be played on December 13th when Inter They take on Torino at the mighty San Siro. Entering the classic stadium with the stands filled for a Serie A evening is an experience in itself, and here you get to see Inter at home against a traditional Torino.
The match includes tickets on the long side, which provides a great overview of the game and the atmosphere around the arena. For those who want to enhance the experience even further, there is also the option to upgrade the ticket category.
Atalanta vs Genoa in Bergamo
The football weekend continues the very next day. From Milan, you head to Bergamo, where Atalanta meets Genoa on New Balance Arena December 14th. Here awaits another type of Italian football experience – a more compact arena and a home crowd that usually leaves a distinct mark on match day.
Tickets for Atalanta–Genoa include tickets on the short side, with the option to upgrade to other ticket categories. In this way, you can experience both the large stage at San Siro and Atalanta’s vibrant home atmosphere during the same trip.
Milan in December – perfect between matches
Football is at the center, but three nights also provide time for Milan. Start at the Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, continue through the city's shopping streets, or end the evening with dinner and aperitivo in the Navigli. In December, the city also gets extra life with Christmas lights and the Christmas atmosphere in the center.
You stay for three nights, December 12–15, at a central 3-star hotel with breakfast. The package includes a long-side ticket to Inter–Torino and a short-side ticket to Atalanta–Genoa. Both the hotel and the match tickets can be upgraded for those who want to add an extra touch of glamour to their trip.
We would also recommend a cost-effective flight option with Ryanair from Arlanda or Copenhagen to Bergamo, round-trip, which costs approximately 700 kronor. The flight is booked independently and is not included in the price of the trip.
Overall, you get a football trip to Milan with two matches, two stadiums and two different sides of Serie A – with Milan as the base throughout the weekend. You’ll also find more of our Football trips to Italy.
